Forest Gump is the movie I had chosen this past week. It is one of the greatest movies ever. It satisfies all four criteria for a great movie: It is unique, it is very layered, it transports the audience, and has many complex themes.
This movie is unlike no other movie because of its simplicity. Forest, protagonist, is a below average when it comes to intelligence. However, this is what sets him apart from most other protagonist. This movie is also great because it is able to transport the watcher. It takes the watcher through Alabama, Vietnam, Washington D.C., and more. Forest Gump goes through every major aspect of Forest's life creating many themes such as faithfulness, truthfulness, equality, and many more.
Forest Gump is a great movie. It covers the four major topics we addressed in class, making this movie great and critically acclaimed. Forest Gump is one on the greatest movies ever made.
