Thanksgiving

This thanksgiving was.....interesting. Let's start with what happened in the beginning of the week. On tuesday November 22, 2011 I had my second surgery. I had to miss school that day but luckily I didn't miss much. The only weird thing about that surgery was, unlike most people, I remembered everything even after they gave me the first dose of “feel good” medicine. They had to give me 2 doses which was very surprising considering how small I was. Anyway, this surgery basically allowed me to do nothing which sucked and what sucked even more was that thanksgiving was coming up. Wednesday came and went pretty fast but when Thursday came around the madness at my house started. The thing is every year our family throws a huge party at our house and usually have around a 28 pound turkey. But this year there was no turkey because the everyone didn't want a turkey. So, it was planned to not have a turkey until the day of thanksgiving. So you could imagine how pissed my mom was when she heard we wanted a turkey. She was so pissed that she wouldn't even help. My dad went and got a turkey. This luckily this wasn't a problem because we had just enough time to cook it. My parents and everyone else had a very adventurous day but sadly I had a very boring day.
This is why this was a very interesting thanksgiving.
